At Ceylon Ltd, ensuring safety and quality is given top priority. We ensure that all our exclusively affiliated processing factories implement Good Manufacturing Practices. These Practices are recommended with the ultimate aim of safeguarding the health of consumers as well as ensuring that production is limited to good quality that meets international standards. We visit all our factories and processing plants on a regular basis, and carry out spontaneous rigorous audits to ensure that stringent hygiene and processing procedures are being adhered to.
We fund as well as work closely with farmers. We always request that our farmers implement and adhere to Good Agricultural Practices (G.A.P) which are methods applied to agriculture that create products that are safe and wholesome.
Microbiological tests are conducted at origin on all our products to ensure absences of bacteria such as salmonella and e-coli etc.
At Ceylon Ltd, having control over the quality and safety of our products is achieved through our ability to trace all our products right from production to distribution. Right from origination to delivery we are in control. All our products are labelled with unique lot numbers which work like identification tags which provides with the bio data of all our products
